Bonus BF3 Info
These are things I’ve figured out/learned from playing the game and just general knowledge or researching.
- The Repair tool can be used to kill enemy soldiers
- Info about each weapon (ammo type, rate of fire, range and fire modes can be found in the Customize screens (Main Menu > My Soldier > Choose a Class (like Engineer) > Move to a weapon and press Y.
- In the game you can see HE in different places, like the SMAW’s ammo is HEDP Rocket. HE stands for high explosive
- New Items in your menu have an orange wedge at the upper left. When you are awarded a new unlocked weapon accessory, you will see that orange wedge in the Customize menu system for that class, then clicking on that class you see it for that weapon then moving through the accessories you will see it on the new accessory
- Due to the way it can interfere around cover and limit your field of fire, instead of the bipod you may prefer the foregrip
- The IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) in Squad Deathmatch gives your squad a great advantage. But if your enemies mine around it before you find it, if they plant C4 on it before you find it, if they set up fields of fire around it to shoot anyone approaching, or if they have mines and AT weapons, be careful
