Battlefield 3 First Impressions: 5 Stars
What is Battlefield 3? What is BF3?
Well, Wikipedia goes in more detail about Battlefield 3, but BF3 is EA/Dice’s latest in the Bad Company video game series, starring you, Staff Sergeant (SSG) Henry “Black” Blackburn picking up where Battlefield 2′s storyline left off. If you use Google as any indicator, then Battlefield 3 was THE most popular video game of 2011 (FPS or otherwise), and was also the only video game in Google’s top 10 most googled things of 2011. Although billed and thought of as an FPS, there is 3rd person action in vehicles.
Battlefield 3, My Impressions
Battlefield 3 hits the ground running, literally. Staff Sergeant Henry Blackburn makes his way through the narrow corridor of a passenger train in New York in gunfight after gunfight in the opening action of the game.
Battlefield 3′s story is told through the interrogation of marine SSG Blackburn by typical good cop/bad cop CIA agents in New York asking questions about terrorists. As the interrogation progresses Blackburn recounts information to the interrogators and you get to play through the screnarios.
The graphics are fantastic, the recreation of environments and sound are all very detailed. If you like first person shooters (FPS), and especially military based FPS video games you probably will not be disappointed.
Battlefield 3 developed by DICE and published by EA is available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and will cost about $60 + tax. If you want to play multiplayer, you might want to buy new since trying to play multiplayer online with a used game requires purchase of an additional online pass (about $10 for Xbox LIVE) and the savings of used + the online pass may not justify missing out on a brand new game disk.
DOWNLOAD: BF3 MANUALS
Since the manual did not come with Battlefield 3 (on Xbox at least) I’ve downloaded them and you can get them here if you can’t find your Battlefield 3 Manual.

After my first night online in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 I would have said Battlefield 3 was the winner hands down. However, after playing more I am not so sure I can so quickly judge. I will look more in-depth at comparing their campaign modes with one another, an their multiplayer modes as

You would think the M16A4 would be more advanced than the M16A3 due to it being the newer version, and in real life this is likely the case. In Battlefield 3, the 2 weapons are almost identical except for their fire modes (see below). Although the Wikia page for the M16 mentions that the M16A3

I was playing Conquest on Tehran Highway tonight and got sandwiched by a squad on 2 or 3 up laying prone against the wall at the edge of the map and 1 guy on overwatch on the overpass. I drove in there in a BMP feeling all safe from being sniped or ambushed trying to

Having played Battlefield 3 for about 3 days now I’m revising my earlier 5 out of 5 star rating down to 4.5 star. I’ve played BF3 Campaign and BF3 Multiplayer. In BF3 Multiplayer I’ve played Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch and accidentally got into Conquest not paying attention to the menu. Why I Dropped BF3 Down

You might be wondering “Why do I keep dying in BF3, do I suck?” Well, if you’ve just started, you are a) still getting used to the controls and the game, b) getting used to the weapons and c) you don’t know the maps well. Additionally, d) you’ve got weaker weapons. BF3 is a progression-based
