COD: MW3 How Do I Reach Next Prestige Level? Earn Prestige Tokens?
So the topic is prestiging in COD Modern Warfare 3, which was to me – a newcomer of multiplayer Call of Duty – somewhat of a mystery. My main question was “When am I going to reach level 2 Prestige, and earn my next prestige token?”
WHAT IS PRESTIGING?
First, let’s define MW3 Prestiging. After level 80 you are given the option to prestige, which gets rid of all of your earned levels, weapons etc, except titles and emblems. If you opt to prestige, you go back to level 0, and have to earn all of your weapons and proficiencies and attachments all over again.
HOW DO I REACH THE NEXT PRESTIGE LEVEL?
You do what you’ve already done, you prestige again, that is, you reach level 80 again. Its that simple. The difference is that you get a new prestige level each time. I’m on my first level of prestige as of this writing, and when I reach level 80 again I’ll be level 2 Prestige and get another prestige token, go back to level 0, and lose all of my weapons.
SO REACH LEVEL 80 TO GET ANOTHER PRESTIGE LEVEL?
Yep, that’s it, you just level up to level 80 again, and as of this writing what I’ve read says you can get up to level 15 Prestige on Xbox, and either level 10 or 15 on Playstation 3, PC, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS. Things sound like Infinity Ward may change that up to level 20 Prestige soon.
PRESTIGE TOKENS
A quick mention of Prestige Tokens, one is awarded each time you Prestige. The MW3 Prestige Tokens are:
- Extra Custom Class (you get a 6th, or more, custom class)
- Double XP (two game hours of double experience)
- Double Weapon XP (two game hours of double weapon experience)
- Regular Package (Callsign Title and Emblem)
- Unlock Gear (Unlock a Create a Class item early and carry it through future prestige levels – choose **wisely**)
- Hardened Package (Callsign Title and Emblem for the COD enthusiast- available at prestige level 5)
- Veteran Package (Callsign Title and Emblem for hardcode COD players – available at prestige level 10)
- Reset All Stats (resets everything including your Prestige Level, excluding titles and emblems – currently available at prestige level 15)

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 weapon proficiencies are earned by continued use of your weapons as you level them up (separate from leveling up your player). The longer you use a weapon, the more proficiencies you earn. Proficiences are used along with weapon attachments to make you and your chosen weapon a more dangerous

One of my favorites in the UMP45 with red dot, and possibly a second attachment. However, when the other team EMPs the red dot is GONE and you have to estimate the center when firing. The best defense I can think of is to switch to your secondary. Even though Infinity Ward nerfed the akimbo

MW3′s G36C assault rifle has one of the highest upward recoils of all ARs. The only ARs with less damage are the FAD, whose higher RPM makes up for the lower damage; and the SCAR-L whose more manageable recoil profile may actually land more of the bullets on-target depending on your playing style and your

The FAD is the last assault rifle to be unlocked in multiplayer, and has the fastest firing rate (rounds per minute) of any assault rifle and is even faster than any of the submachine guns – except the PM-9 and PP90M1. The FAD excels on the battlefield as an assault rifle pumping out bullets with SMG-like

This is a work-in-progress, and as such is incomplete at this time. Requires MS Excel, OpenOffice Calc or compatible spreadsheet program to open. Stats may be out of date if adjustments are made by Infinity Ward. DOWNLOAD: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Weapon Stats

The CM901 has the heaviest recoil profile of all assault rifles in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. It also has one of the longest ranges of any fully automatic assault rifle (based on min. damage range) and is tied with the AK-47 for highest damage of the fully automatic assault rifles. Compared to the

The MK14 is one of the better assault rifles with its high damage rate, balanced by its being semi-automatic, which as you know means one bullet every time you pull the trigger. The obvious downside being if you run into someone in close quarters and they have a fully automatic weapon, you may lose out
