I’m George Conklin and I live with my wife and kids in South Carolina’s Charleston metro area in a little city called Goose Creek. I enjoy blogging on this and a couple of other blogs, and creating usable, effective and affordable websites (yes, I really enjoy building websites).
I’ve been working on the Internet since about 2000. Beginning in 2001 I started getting requests to work on client web sites after a local dial-up ISP/website hosting company I worked for closed its doors. In the wake of that closing I did some maintenance for one of its website clients. After that, through word-of-mouth I had some work offers for complete websites.
